Music Preview: Hyper Crush “Night Wave”
Music Preview: Hyper Crush “Night Wave”

Hyper Crush’s second album “Night Wave is slated to release February 7th, 2012. Their first album, “The Arcade” was pretty solid, however, didn’t shake up the scene for too many. Nonetheless, the album could make any party good. They are an electronica, house, trance, pop fusion type of group. The best way to explain them (which is exceptionally cliche but I am going to do it anyways) is they are kind of what LMFAO and Dev would kind of be if they combined (terrible, I know, I’m sorry).
Many individuals found their party song from this album titled “Fingers Up.” Kind of reminds me of something akin to dubstep (loosely speaking). The beat makes me think of something hardcore shufflers might appreciate (keyword: might). Good song nonetheless. After that, the next song off the album heard is “Flip the Switch.” Overall, the songs are catchy (which makes you think of mainstream, pop’ish), but at the same time the beats (should) make you want to move, groove, and dance.
The true first single off this new album is “Werk Me”. Also catchy yet moving like much of their other songs.
Hyper Crush’s “Night Wave” is slated to release February 7th, 2012 (after the Super Bowl but before Valentine’s Day in case anyone needs some reference dates). If you want to hear more from Hyper Crush, go and check out their SoundCloud to hear these songs I’ve talked about and more. I do recommend purchasing “Night Wave” when it comes out. Hyper Crush was consistent in “The Arcade” which bodes well if they continue to be consistent. I think they will, and this will make yet another good addition to your party music. Enjoy.
