2012 NFL Mock Draft: Picks:11-15

2012 NFL Mock Draft: Picks:11-15

Over the past for few days their have been some changes in the NFL draft. The Rams traded picks with Washington Redskins, this changes the first few picks of the draft and Trent Richardson will likely be drafted by the Cleavland Brows. The draft will continue as normal, but it will not reflect Trent Richardson being picked. Here are picks: 11-15

11. KC: Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama

The Kansas Chiefs were supposed to be a playoff team this season and failed to meet expectations. Injuries to their starting Quarterback and to their Running back really hurt them. The Chiefs just signed Running Back Peyton Hillis to back up Jamal Charles, they will look to the defensive side of the ball and shore up on linebackers and draft Outside Linebacker, Courtney Upshaw, Alabama. Upshaw is a workhorse and definitely a force to be reckoned with, he’s a great player and anyone would be pleased to have him on their team.

12. SEA: Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College

The Seahawks got rid of Aaron Curry this year and they need a linebacker who can carry the load of the team on his back. The Seahawks look to replace what they had with Tatupu and Curry with this year’s best tackle and field General, Inside Linebacker, Luke Kuechly, Boston College. Keuchly is a solid inside linebacker who does all the right things and he can start from day one. The Seahawks need that man in the middle who the offenses must account for every play, and Kuechly is a blue-chip prospect who fits a need for Seattle.

13. ARI: Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State

The Arizona Cardinals have faced some tough years since they last went to the Super Bowl since Kurt Warner’s departure and need to change that. The Cardinals need to protect their Quarterbacks so that Kevin Kolb actually has time to throw the ball. The Cardinals offensive line needs help and they will draft Offensive Tackle Mike Adams, Ohio State. Adams definitely has the size to play in the NFL. He needs to work on his technique but he’s a need for the Cardinals who will place him at Left Tackle, and if that doesn’t work he can play right.

14. DAL: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama

The Cowboys secondary got torched all season and they need to upgrade because Terrance Newman isn’t getting the job done. The second best Cornerback in the draft will be their selection Cornerback, Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama. Kirkpatrick had a solid workout at Alabama’s pro day and solidified his position as a first round pick. Kirkpatrick’s skill set will grasp many team’s attention because of his length and ability to guard bigger receivers.

15. PHI: Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

The Philadelphia Eagles were tabbed the NFL’s “Dream Team” last season and failed to meet those expectations. What the Eagle’s need to address is the Linebacker position: if your team can’t tackle anyone then why play football? But with the top middle linebacker gone, the Eagle’s will look to get push in their defensive line and go another direction. This selection shouldn’t take long for the Eagle’s to make. The Eagle’s will draft Defensive Tackle, Dontari Poe, Memphis. He’s a load of a man who had the strength and quickness to take on multiple blockers. A great pick at for the Eagle’s.
