RHCP worth the wait

It’s been a while since the Southern California based funk, punk, rock, hip hop blues, reggae band The Red Hot Chili Peppers have released an album. 2006 saw The Pepper release Stadium Arcadium, a blues album, a greatest hits album, and other various compilation albums. Finally 2011 saw the return of the Peppers with their latest release “I’m with you”. A departure from some of their older album, IWY still holds strong in their discography. RHCP always has two constants Anthony Kiedis delivers hair raising vocals and lyrics and Flea always smacks that bass like Flyod Mayweather beats down his opponents in the ring. Just as a disclaimer I am fan of the Peppers, and I normally do not listen to the same album over and over. Usually I listen to a cd for a day and put it away for awhile. With this album, much like when Jay-z and Kanye West dropped “Watch The Throne”, I played it for days on end and could not stop listening to it. [Read more…]
